アメリカ人の友達が帰国した

昨日、半年間の滞在を終えて、アメリカ人の友達のエミリーがサンフランシスコに帰りました。この数か月、彼女のお陰で私の英語力は随分と向上したと実感します。今日は日中、茨木市役所近くの施設に商用があり、その間エミリーとはアプリを使ってビデオコールをしていたので、日本とアメリカの距離や時差を感じることなく会話できることはテクノロジーに感謝しかありません。

彼女は日本への移住を検討していますが、なかなか困難なことも多く、実現するにはいくつかのハードルを越えなければなりません。では、あなたなら出来るよ！私も出来る限り応援します。

Yesterday, my American friend Emily returned to San Francisco after a six-month stay. I feel that my English has improved a lot thanks to her over the past few months. Today, I had business at a facility near Ibaraki City Hall during the day, and during that time I used an app to video call Emily, so we can only be grateful for technology, being able to talk to her without feeling the distance or time difference between Japan and the United States.

She is considering moving to Japan, but it is often difficult, and she will have to overcome several hurdles to make it happen. Well, you can do it! I will support you as much as I can.
